IT Retail Day 2018 Conference Report
"Over the last few years, expertise expansion beyond the financial sector is one of Neoflex priorities. Thus, in 2016 an integration project for X5 Retail Group, a major food retailing company in Russia, was implemented. Neoflex specialists developed a unique integration solution allowing automating the exchange of legally relevant electronic documents of the company and electronic factoring platforms with almost zero accounting systems rework", he noted.
According to Alexey Makeev, in 2017 the specialists of the company worked on another interesting project, resulting in development of a solution of great interest for the retail sector as well. The solution in question is the movement control center (MCC) for PEC, a major cargo company in Russia. The system is built with the use of Big Data technologies. It provides a consolidated information area for the interaction of customer logistics and warehouses based on a single business process. Currently, MCC allows to significantly improve the accuracy of transportation planning and to forecast the planned balances at 180 warehouses across Russia in real-time with the accuracy down to a specific cargo for a week ahead.
"I assume that large retailers face similar challenges in their activities. And we are ready to offer them an individual high-load and fault-tolerant solution developed on a proven cutting edge software stack", Makeev concluded.
